Register for the 2018-19 National Freshman Success Institute

Please submit one registration per participant. If attending as a team or group, each participant must register separately.

Cost & Participation:

$3,500 per person
$3,000 per person for teams of 4 or more
$2,500 per person for groups of 12 or more

A large group rate, for 20 or more participants, may be available. If your school and/or district is interested in registering as a large group, please contact us first.

There are a limited number of partial scholarships available (from the full cost per person). Please complete a scholarship application after registering.

NCS recommends attending as a team of at least three educators. Principals are highly encourages to register as well as freshman teacher leaders, counselors, and educators with data experience (proficient in Excel).

Fee includes breakfast and lunch each day and all materials.

Important Policy Updates

Cancellation Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the National Freshman Success Institute may request a full refund if NCS is notified of the cancellation at least 30 days prior to the first session. Registrants canceling within 30 days of the first session will not be eligible for a refund and must pay the registration cost regardless of attendance. Please keep in mind that cancellations may impact team or group rates.

Switching Participants Policy
The National Freshman Success Institute is a seven-day, scaffolded experience. Participants are expected to attend all seven days in person so they can fully understand the research, data, and practice involved in freshman success work. For this reason, participants are strongly discouraged from registering if they cannot attend all seven days.

If a school/district would like to switch one participant with another educator after the Institute begins, then an additional fee of $500 will be applied. NCS understands that extenuating and unexpected circumstances arise from time to time. Should it be absolutely necessary to replace a participant, NCS may waive the fee at our discretion. Please contact Sandra Ortigoza immediately if your school/district needs to switch participants.

If someone attends a session of the National Freshman Success Institute without registering online or contacting Sandra Ortigoza to register as a replacement, he/she will be charged the the full cost of attendance.
