Ana Agarrat is the Development Associate with the Network for College Success. She is motivated to create financial sustainability and organizational capacity for nonprofit organizations, like NCS. Her passion for the equitable and ethical distribution of resources drives her pursuit of grant opportunities and foundation relationships that will fund the organization’s guiding principles.
She designed a novel program and wrote a coinciding grant proposal for an AmeriCorps State Program as a graduate student at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Social Work. As an intern, she developed a curriculum of monthly programs focused on emotional intelligence, emotional well-being, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills for coping in a cohort of high school students in Chicago’s foster care system.
Ana was born and raised in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago before earning her B.S. in Biology at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.
