Kayla Brown

Development and Communications Associate


Kayla Brown is the Development and Communications Associate with the Network For College Success. She is responsible for supporting fundraising activities as well as drafting informational and marketing materials. Prior to joining NCS, Kayla served as a grant writer for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Before that, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with Legal Council for Health Justice in Chicago.

Kayla hails from the St. Louis suburbs of Florissant, Missouri. In 2017, she earned her B.A in Sociology from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In her spare time, she enjoys reading historical fiction novels and writing for her blog site about the importance of Black mental health.
