UChicago Network for College Success Welcomes Four New Partner High Schools and Expands Existing Partnerships

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 
(Chicago, IL) The UChicago Network for College Success (NCS) is pleased to announce the addition of four new partner high schools to its esteemed Partner School Network. Joining this collaborative effort to improve outcomes for students across Chicago are Alcott College Prep, Kelvyn Park High School, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. College Preparatory High School, and Wendell Phillips Academy High School. In addition to these new partnerships, twelve schools will be continuing their successful collaboration with NCS in the upcoming academic year. The existing partner schools are Richard T. Crane Medical Prep High School, Englewood STEM High School, Farragut Career Academy, Sarah E. Goode STEM Academy, Thomas Kelly High School, Kenwood Academy, North-Grand High School, Al Raby School for Community and Environment, Richards Career Academy, South Shore International College Prep, Tilden High School, and William H. Wells Community Academy.
Principal of Phillips Academy High School, Rashad Talley, Ed.S., expressed his excitement about the collaboration.
He stated, "Through our partnership with NCS, we want to build sustainable systems that enhance the Phillips Wildcat high school experience by supporting our 9th Grade students as they transition to high school. Our goal is to build upon those systems that will improve teaching and learning, increase student engagement, and prepare students for high-quality post-secondary education."
Principal Talley further elaborated, "As a principal with a family legacy here in the community and the school, I hope to bring an academic identity that we can be proud to promote. Through NCS, the partnership will help me and my team realize that goal, collectively, with the community and families we service."
By expanding its Partner School Network, NCS aims to create a powerful network of educators, administrators, and school leaders committed to providing students with the tools and support they need to succeed in high school and beyond.
