The Data Shift: Foundations for Transforming Practice

Join the Network for College Success for The Data Shift: Foundations for Transforming Practice. This open network is designed for data leads and educators who work with—or aspire to work with—data to drive meaningful change. (Register Here!)

DATES & TIMES:

  • October 21st, 2026; 9AM-1PM [IN-PERSON at UChicago; reach out to Amanda at abaltikas@uchicago.edu for hybrid options]
  • January 13th, 2027; 1PM-3PM [VIRTUAL]
  • March 10th, 2027; 10AM-12PM [VIRTUAL]

Participants will deepen their data practice and leadership skills by:

           - Developing a data strategy for a team

           - Grounding in the core values of data strategy

           - Self-assessing strengths and areas of growth for transforming practice

           - Building complimentary skills to become a team data lead

Participants will build a vibrant community of adult learners that fosters mutual support and promotes open, candid exchanges of ideas. This experience is grounded in the belief that anyone can be a data lead and that data leadership is both technical and adaptive. When we focus on understanding how data practices, we can create more inclusive and responsive school communities.
