Aishwarya Sivaramakrishnan is a rising second-year Master of Public Policy candidate at the Harris School of Public Policy, interested in education policy and data analytics. She graduated from Krea University with a Bachelor's in Economics and minors in Business Studies and Psychology in 2022. Prior to joining Harris, she worked part-time with policy advocacy groups that lobby for grassroots-level change in state-sponsored educational institutions in India, in addition to teaching English as a Second Language and mentoring school students.
On campus, she is a Lector and Tutor for the Writing Program, in addition to being an Employer Relations Intern and the ESL/EAL Graduate Writing Consultant for UChicagoGRAD. She is passionate about advocating for international students through her roles in the Graduate Council and the International Graduate Student Advisory Board. Aishwarya loves contemporary fiction, baking, watching movies and TV shows, and visiting new places in Chicago.
