Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Facilitator
LaKisha Pittman is a Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Facilitator with the Network for College Success. As a veteran educator and teacher leader with sixteen years of urban teaching and leadership experience, LaKisha uses her expertise to coach, consult and support school administrators and teacher teams to improve learning for all students. Prior to joining NCS, LaKisha served as a 9-12 Senior Literacy Manager for Chicago Public Schools’ Office of Teaching and Learning. She provided research-based instructional expertise and support to schools to facilitate and track progress on curriculum and assessment development. LaKisha also served as a high school English and Reading teacher, Instructional Coach, and an Associate Lead of Professional Development and Content Team Lead. Prior to relocating to Chicago, LaKisha taught both high school and middle school in Michigan and Mississippi. She is a highly motivated, dynamic and dedicated teacher leader.
